Morning News Angling Articles
2000 - 2002
In September 2001 Tom O'Reilly was appointed
the angling writer of The Western Morning News. A regional paper that
covers all of Cornwall, Devon, and peters out well into Somerset and
Dorset. His brief was to supply a thousand words a week plus photographs
and the occasional illustrations on all different types of coarse, game
and sea angling in the region.
The resulting work has led Tom on to his most exciting and interesting
trips to date, all of which are captured in a compilation published by
The
Little Egret Press.
Read about his first salmon on the fly, his joy of carp fishing and his
addiction of sea fishing.
The written articles were considered so good that he won the
Best
New Angling Writer Award at the A.W.A awards 2002 |

The whole edition is limited
to just 500 copies, of which 25 will be specially bound by the author in
full leather, with gilt fore edges, five spine bands, gold embossing and a
slip case.
The cloth edition will be bound in a natural coloured book linen with an attractive
full colour dust-wrapper.
The whole edition is
signed and numbered by the author, Tom O'Reilly.
