Dick Walker was the greatest angling writer of all
time. For 30 years he wrote a weekly column for the
world’s best-selling angling newspaper, Angling
Times, starting with its launch in July 1953.
Some of his incredibly popular
weekly columns were grouped together in book form -
Walker’s Pitch - published in 1959. Several
reprints followed until Tom O’Reilly and his
company, The Little Egret
Press, updated the book in 2003.

This new book – Walker’s Pitch II – is a
selection of articles from Dick’s Angling Times
columns, dating from 1960-1966, again published
by Tom O’Reilly.
