Tom O'Reilly
Writer & Illustrator |
|
Tom O'Reilly
was born and brought up on the picturesque estate
of the
Earl Of St Germans in Cornwall.

He lived for most of his childhood
a 'stones throw' away from
the estate's two carp ponds, it was these that gave him the inspiration to
start writing and drawing and became the background to his first book
"The
Spirit Of The Pond", published by Macmillan, London, 1996, and in the
following year by Shoeisha in Japan.

Following this he was
commissioned to write an angling book for M.Q.P, entitled Fishing, from
their Infatuation series.
Tom has also had articles published in
many magazines and is now an angling journalist for the Western
Morning News newspaper, where he writes a thousand word weekly page
illustrated with his photography and drawings.
