This is a book about Tony's half century of fishing
the Great Ouse, Since he first set foot on its banks
in 1957.
Contained within these pages are the highlights of
that part of Tony's angling ~ spent searching for
the specimen fish of one of the best rivers in the
land.
There is no attempt to be instructional within these
pages, but they cannot help but inspire. Here are
the accounts of countless battles with giant chub,
encounters with elusive roach and monster perch and
the almost religious zeal in pursuit of the now
legendary barbel of Adams Mill and Kickles Farm.
In more recent years, Tony takes us with him also in
his searches for big carp and tench.
